Perfect weather conditions for racing are always available with the Red Bull Soapbox Racer experience. Thrills – without the spills – are the aim of this site. Providing an online counterpart to the dozens on Red Bull Soapbox races held around the world each year, the game allows guests to participate without the restrictions of the physical world.

our role

Less Rain conceptualised, designed and built the entire site, putting in place a car creator - which smartly reflects real-life physics – a gravity-based racing game and a 2D level editor which extrudes a racer's track design into 3D. The backdrops to the site were hand-crafted and then captured on camera, lending a home-made feel to the destinations of the race.The Soapbox Racer has won numerous awards, including Adobe site of the Day, FWA site of the Month, Flash in the Can in 3D, W3 Gold and Best in show, LIA Gold, IMA Best in class, Davey Gold and Webby People's voice.
